Sigma Solutions Group, LLC. is seeking a team of interns to help with its online marketing efforts through our Agency Within an Agency Internship Program.
Applicants should have a strong interest in the world of Internet Marketing as a career choice. Candidates should be motivated, proactive, energetic, and demonstrate initiative. We are looking for at least a 15hr/wk commitment, but could offer up to 30hr/wk. We are recruiting for both 10 and 20 week time frames. Our internships are available for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer terms.
We live in a virtual world and a virtual industry. As such this internship will run like our agency and many other firms just like ours. Most of your work will be done through telecommuting on your own equipment. The Internet does not require you to be in a centralized location and neither do we. However, you will be required to meet once per week as a team to discuss ideas, plans, etc. You will also be required to meet once a week with our President to talk about plans executions, etc. Additional communication will be required through the course of the work week, but this will be the only routinely scheduled time.
There are 4 positions available:
Marketing Strategy Intern
• Develop Online Marketing plans
• Identify key marketing opportunities and locations
• Work with other interns to develop appropriate content for specific executions
• Research new trends in Online Marketing and help SSG be a first mover
• Perform competitive analysis of other agencies; offerings and services
Graphic Design Intern
• Develop graphical content for Online Marketing plans
• Develop templates for e-mails, blogs, forums, bulletin boards, and social network sites
Content Development Intern
• Become our literary voice
• Write articles for SSG’s blog and provide content to other industry blogs
• Participate in forums on SSG’s behalf
• Provide copy for e-mail communications
Search Marketing Intern
• Continually monitor Search Marketing/SEO blogs and forums to glean tips and tricks for improving search placement
• Develop SEO and Paid-SEM strategies
• Identify best in class software to provide reporting for clients
All positions will be for credit only. Students must provide documentation that they will be receiving some credit from their school or institution. Students will also be given the rights to include certain projects in their portfolios. Paid freelance opportunities may be available upon completion of the internship based on performance and necessity.
